I think each movie should be able to stand on its own without requiring a second movie to tie things up for you (see also, The Italian Job (1969)). Cliffhanger endings simply do not work in terms of story. They're fantastic marketing tools, but are plain fucking annoying to most people.<br /><br Thomas J.
