If there was nothing I could do to change it, no. With my luck I would end up with an abusive husband yada yada living in a cardboard box on main street and wouldn't be able to change it....I would rather not know.
So then it would be like re-reading a book. Know what is going to happen but you still find things you didn't notice before. Therefore the outcome is the same but your personal experience of the unchangeable event will change.
I would like to know the future, at least the date of my death. Then, I would at least be able to know how long I had to do all the fun stuff that I want to do. Also, as a historian, I would like to know how current events are viewed in 100 years.
