Well I'd have to weigh the pros and cons of both. Time travel would allow me to see some interesting things, but it does just say time travel without any specifics as to whether that includes travel through time and space, because I could end up in the middle of the ocean if I didn't time it right.
As far as living forever goes. I might go for this if I were guaranteed that I would stop aging at a certain point and not have to suffer the pain and agony of being 600 years old. I imagine I would be feeling pretty dry around that age.
So under ideal circumstances I think I would have to go for time travel because living forever would just get depressing after a while, seeing all your friends die generation after generation, plus at some point their not going to get Big Lebowski jokes and that's not a world I want to live in.
Time travel, for two reasons:
ReplyDelete1) The reason why I would want to live forever is to see what happens in the future. If I can time travel, I can do that.
2) I'm a historian. How cool would it be to go back in time and witness historical events? Very cool, that's how cool.
I'm a live-forever guy.

Well, this could go either way.
ReplyDeleteIf you can travel through time, then you can go to the future when human life has been artificially extended and live a significantly longer life.
On the other hand, if you could live forever, you would live to the point where humans are able to travel through time.
So I guess it doesn't matter, really.
