My Sister Is Famous!

So, I was wandering around the Internet Movie Database, and lo! My sister Lila's name is actually on there now.

Direct link: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm1748845/

She doesn't have any biography information yet, but it's a start. :)

Wow!

So far, her name hasn't made it to The Oracle of Bacon at Virginia which calculates someone's degree of seperation from Kevin Bacon. So, we don't know her Bacon Number yet, but it will likely be very high (that's rare). It should make it over in a few weeks...

UPDATE:
Now she has a picture on her IMDB page.

Also, check out the trailer for the film (she's the one in the chair).

  1. Okay! I've been meaning to comment on this entry since I first saw it on Saturday.

I could have been in this film as an extra. In fact, Kris, Lindy and I were all going to be extras, but they kept pushing back the shoot time, so after about two and half hours of waiting for =anything= to happen, we left.

However, before we left, I snapped a few pictures of the set (the club scene), which was shot in an old Wonder Bread factory.

    You can see them here:

Mind you, they're not the greatest of pictures since it was dark.

Also, I graduated with Susannah Lowber, one of the co-writers and the production designer. The character of "Lefty" (the one-armed bartender) is played by Jon Fowler, who also appears in Dorm Life, which is the show that Kris and I did for our senior project, which Phoenix has a role in. Fancy that.

  2. You call that a role? :)

Now, if only you had pitched "Penthouse Live" to some TV producers, *I* could be on the IMDB.

    Gabriel, Phoenix - Himself (pilot)

But then, if the actual Penthouse Live were on TV, you'd have everyone thinking I wanted to have sex with animals. Damn your editing!

  3. Actually, I think Dorm Life may qualify for IMDb credit. I'll have to look into that.

I already know a good piece of trivia for Dorm Life:

"During the shooting of the final scene, one of the extras (Phoenix Gabriel) didn't relise that there was a naked girl in the room because he hadn't brought his glasses."

  4. That's a damn dirty lie! I *KNEW* there was a naked girl in the room, I just couldn't SEE her because I hadn't brought my glasses.

That made it much, much worse.
