You down with OCD?

Yeah, you know me.

Am I OCD?

Here are some skittles on my desk:

I'm not saying I'm OCD, but they sure didn't come in separate packages ordered by color.

  1. I always eat my Skittles so that equal numbers of each color remain, then eat them, one at a time, in order from least favorite to favorite.

Unless I'm in a hurry, in which case I just chuck hand-fulls of them into my mouth.

  2. I don't eat different colors of M&Ms in the same bite. I don't sort Skittles though. I just eat them handfuls at a time.

One of my more odd OCD things with candy is with Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. I eat the outside part first, then the middle in two bites. I'm sure there's more weird ways that I eat candy, but I just can't think of them right now. Plus I don't want you guys having more ammunition to use against me

  3. Thomas wins at OCD. I sort, but I don't count...

Mike, remember, there's no wrong way to eat a Reese's. (article is about OCD. Coincidence? Yeah, probably)

  4. I do the same thing Thomas does except instead of eating them from least to most favorite, I eat them in reverse rainbow order. I also do the same thing with M&Ms.

  5. Wow, I feel like the freak. I sometimes mash one piece of each Skittles color in to a large cube (it ends up a brownish purple color) and then eat it. If their too cold to that then I just eat in the order they slide out of the bag. I don't do anything special with my M&M's although when I was little I liked to eat the candy coating first then the melty chocolate middle.

  6. In the crowd I hang out with, that's perfectly normal. Even Thomas' eating skittles so they are all in equal numbers is not unusual.

Revel in the fact that you are good company.
