@michelle - Yeah, a few people in the Spokane group have been working on the same novel for two or three years now. At the very least, your goal could be to have a story outline by the end of November. Then perhaps next year can be your magical year. -)
Are you going to continue your novel from last year, or start from scratch?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about doing it this year, but I can't keep up two blogs and write a novel in a month. Not without a lot of pre-planning. :(
ReplyDeleteMaybe next year.
Start from scratch.
ReplyDeleteWhat I worked on last year...was pretty crappy. ^_^ I kind of wrote myself into a corner.
This year, I think I have a better baseline story to work with.
But, most likely, it's just more crap. ^_^
It is a LOT of effort. Or at least, it is for me. But perhaps I make it too hard.
I agree, it is quite difficult and requires a good deal of pre-planning.
ReplyDelete@michelle - I suggest that you use this year's NaNoWriMo as an excuse to start planning the novel. I probably should have done that last year.

ReplyDeleteYou mean, go ahead and sign up anyway?
