ReplyDeleteActually, I make 3,600,000 yen. After taxes. ^_^ It's roughly equivelent to making $40,000 in America, before taxes.
Which may sound like a lot, unless you're a Computer Science graduate. CS majors earn an average of $50-60,000 to start with. A few years of experience and you could see $80,000 or more (this assumes you don't burn out in a few years, like most CS majors who do it for the money but don't have the calling).
So, to me, every year I spend here, is thousands of dollars I'm not making there.
But, oh, the stories....they are priceless. ^_^
then why don't you just leave?
